gulping salt monoxide
watching keenly, weighing distance
he runs gap of closing sharks
merging on the offramp
merging huddling flashing right
runs it through crashing behind
tiptoe tipshift up to a stop
a gentle squeeze and settle
toward silence, composure, left look right
